| Obverse description | Printed in red-brown and green on cream paper, the obverse is centred on a vignette of the St. Marienkirchen church tower set within ornate foliate scrollwork, with the municipal coat of arms on a heraldic shield to the left and a decorative wheat-sheaf motif within a matching shield to the right. The large denomination numeral '50' with the legend 'Heller' appears at the foot of the note, flanked by redemption notices in Gothic script.
