| Obverse description | Cream-toned notgeld on a lined underprint, with the denomination numeral '50' in oval cartouches at all four corners. The title 'Gutschein' is set in ornate Gothic blackletter script at the top centre. A central oval vignette in fine line engraving illustrates a farmer guiding a horse-drawn plough across open fields, with a village church spire and rooftops visible in the background under a radiant sky. Decorative vegetal motifs and pillar elements flank the vignette on either side, with validity and issuing authority inscriptions divided between the left and right margins. |
