| Obverse description | Plain cream paper note printed in dark violet-blue ink throughout, enclosed within a continuous interlocking oval chain border. The heading in Gothic blackletter reads 'Gutschein der Gemeinde St. Gotthard, N.-Ö.', followed by the terms of issue in smaller Gothic type, dated 1 May 1920, with two facsimile signatures below — Vizebürgermeister at left and Bürgermeister at right. The denomination numeral '50' appears in bold type within ruled boxes at each lower corner, with an anti-counterfeiting notice centred in the lower panel. |
