| Obverse description | The obverse presents a central vignette of Sitzenberg Castle set above a reflective river, rendered in a fine woodcut or letterpress style in dark green ink over a rose-pink underprint. The denomination numeral '50' appears in Gothic-script cartouches at upper left and right, flanking the place name 'Sitzenberg' in ornate Fraktur lettering across a scroll banner at the top. The border consists of decorative twisted rope and foliate strapwork framing the entire composition, with the inscription '50 Heller Kassenschein' in bold Gothic script at the foot of the note, signed in the lower right margin by the designer F.F. Hofecker. |
