| Obverse description | Printed in dark blue on cream paper, the obverse carries a central vignette of a medieval tower and castle gate set within an elaborate scrollwork frame of Art Nouveau character. Bilingual Gothic-script text panels flanking the vignette state the issuing authority's guarantee and redemption terms, with the issue date of 12 Mai 1920 and a facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister at lower right. The denomination "Fünfzig 50 Heller" appears in bold Gothic lettering along the bottom, all enclosed within a decorative dotted border. |
