Obverse description Printed in violet on cream paper, the obverse is divided into two zones: a left panel enclosed by a fine guilloche border containing a central oval vignette of the riverside townscape of Sarmingstein with buildings set against a rocky cliff and foliage surround, flanked by handwritten signatures below; a right panel carries the large numeral '50' at upper right alongside the issuer legend in Gothic script.
