Obverse description Brown-toned notgeld voucher with a wavy guilloche underprint framing a central rectangular vignette of the town of Saalfelden set against an Alpine mountain backdrop, captioned "SAALFELDEN" above. The municipal coat of arms appears in wreath cartouches at left and right, flanked by decorative ribbon ties. The large numeral "50" is centred below the vignette, with the redemption clause text arranged in two columns to either side; the date "SAALFELDEN, IM JULI 1920" and the Bürgermeister's manuscript signature appear along the lower margin, with the printer's imprint "Buchdruckerei Zaunrith, Salzburg" beneath.

Reverse description Brown-toned reverse with an overall fine geometric guilloche underprint. A central oval vignette portrays a bust-length portrait of a woman in traditional Salzburg regional dress (Tracht), with "50 h" denomination numerals in circular guilloche cartouches at left and right. The denomination title "Fünfzig Haller" appears in decorative Art Nouveau lettering across the top, and the place name "SAALFELDEN" is inscribed along the lower margin; the inscription "Tracht" and the year "1920" appear in script below the central vignette.
