| Obverse description | The face of this Austrian Notgeld gutschein is set within a guilloche-bordered rectangular frame, with the denomination numeral '50' printed in each of the four corners. Two circular vignettes flanking the central text each enclose a wreath surrounding crossed mining tools (pickaxe and hammer), serving as the municipal emblem of Pötting. The central text panel carries the denomination legend in Gothic blackletter script above a smaller block of legal text stating the council resolution of 23 April 1920 and the redemption period of 1 to 15 December 1920, with two manuscript signature lines below. |
