Obverse description Printed in blue on cream paper, the centre of the note is occupied by a double vignette within a decorative hatched border: the upper panel shows a view of the Peuerbach church and surrounding buildings, while the lower panel presents a street scene of the market square with the town tower. The denomination '50 Heller' appears in large Fraktur script in both upper corners. To the lower left, a rope-bordered circular cartouche bears the date '1920', while a matching cartouche to the lower right contains the municipal coat of arms. The issuer inscription 'Markt-Gemeinde Peuerbach O.Ö.' runs along the bottom in Gothic lettering, with the designer's name 'H. Dohlmaier' inscribed in small text below the central vignette.

Reverse description Printed in blue on cream paper, the reverse carries a plain typeset layout within a dotted outer border. The heading 'Notgeld der Marktgemeinde Peuerbach, Oberösterreich.' is set in large Fraktur type across the top. A rectangular frame in the centre top displays '50 Heller 50', flanked on each side by vertical dotted-border panels bearing the numeral '50'. The body text, in Fraktur script, states the legal basis and redemption conditions of the note, referencing the municipal council resolution of 7 April 1920 and a total issue of 100,000 Kronen. A bold anti-counterfeiting warning appears at the foot, with a small printer's mark in the lower right corner.
