| Obverse description | The obverse is set within an elaborate Art Nouveau guilloche border of interlocking scrollwork, rosettes, and lace-like ornamental patterns. A central vignette presents a panoramic landscape view of Heilbad St. Thomas, with buildings, trees, and rolling hills rendered in fine line engraving. Oval denomination cartouches displaying '50 Heller' appear at upper left and upper right, with a text panel at the foot of the note citing the municipal resolution of 3 April 1920 authorizing the issue, signed by Bgm. Jakob Baumann. |
