Obverse description Central vignette of Maissau castle rendered in fine line engraving, framed by a laurel wreath, with two hexagonal denomination cartouches bearing '50 Heller' flanking the castle to left and right. The town coat of arms appears in the right-hand stub panel alongside the issuer name and date of issue. Validity date 'Giltig bis 31. März 1921' is inscribed below the central vignette, with the denomination in Gothic script on a scroll at the foot of the main panel.

Reverse description The reverse is divided into two panels: the left stub carries the denomination '50 Heller' in large Gothic lettering with the issuer name and 'Niederösterreich' below. Gemeinderat at the foot.
