| Reverse description | Printed in purple on pale paper, the reverse bears a simplified ornamental border with the numeral 50 in each corner. The heading Gutschein der Stadtgemeinde Linz über appears in Gothic script at the top, above a rectangular panel containing the denomination legend HELLER 50 FÜNFZIG. The lower half is occupied by a justification text in German referencing the municipal council resolution of 16 January 1920, and a caution line at the foot warning against counterfeiting. |
| Reverse lettering | Gutschein der Stadtgemeinde Linz über HELLER 50 FÜNFZIG Zur Behebung der herrschenden Kleingeldnot gibt die Stadtgemeinde Linz auf Grund des Gemeinderatsbeschlusses vom 16. Jänner 1920 Gutscheine bis zu einem Gesamtbetrage von viermalhunderttausend Kronen aus. Diese Gutscheine werden in der Zeit vom 1. Juni bis 30. Juni 1920 bei den städtischen Kassen in gesetzlichem Bargeld eingelöst. Die Nachahmung dieses Scheines wird gesetzlich bestraft. |
