| Obverse description | Printed on tan paper in dark brown ink, the obverse carries the title 'Kassenschein der Marktgemeinde Langenlois' in Gothic blackletter script across the upper portion. To the left, a large circular guilloche vignette bears the denomination '50 HELLER' at centre; to the right, a finely engraved townscape vignette shows the market square of Langenlois with its church tower, bridge, and surrounding buildings. Below, a liability clause is set in Roman type, followed by the issuance date 'Langenlois, 22. Februar 1920' and three manuscript signature lines attributed to the Vize-Bürgermeister, Bürgermeister, and geschäftsführende Gemeinderat. |

Centred beneath it, a pink-printed crowned municipal coat of arms acts as an underprint, overlaid by the redemption clause in black Gothic type and flanked on each side by a large pink numeral '50'. A counterfeiting warning is printed at the foot of the note. |
