| Obverse description | The upper portion of the note carries a woodcut-style vignette of a hilltop castle amid dense foliage, flanked on either side by floral motifs — an edelweiss-like bloom to the left and an iris to the right. Below the vignette, the issuer legend and denomination appear in ornate Gothic script, accompanied by a liability clause in smaller lettering. The denomination numeral '50' appears in bold solid panels at lower left and right, with three facsimile signatures of municipal officials — Vizebürgermeister, Bürgermeister, and Kassier — and an anti-counterfeiting warning at the foot. |
