The central field presents two circular denomination cartouches with '50' in red-brown at either side, flanked by elaborate foliate scroll ornaments, while local architectural vignettes — a medieval castle tower at left and a rural farmstead at right — frame a central medallion above a panoramic townscape with a church steeple rendered in fine letterpress engraving.
