| Obverse description | The obverse is set in a blackletter typographic style throughout. At the top, the heading reads 'Notgeld der Gemeinde Kirchberg am Walde' within a decorative border. A central vignette enclosed in a ruled frame presents a line-art view of the Haus der Hamerlingstiftung, captioned accordingly below. Denomination roundels reading '50' within ornate circular guilloche designs flank the vignette on either side, each surmounted by the word 'Heller'. The lower portion carries a guarantee text pledging the municipality's assets as security, followed by three manuscript signatures beneath the titles Gemeinderat, Bürgermeister, and Gemeinderat. |
