| Obverse description | Plain cream paper note framed by a double-ruled rectangular border with small corner ornaments. A guilloche underprint of interlocking chain-link rosettes fills the central field, against which the large bold numeral '50' is set between two inset panels each bearing the denomination word 'Heller' in Gothic blackletter. The issuer name ':Gemeinde: :Hohenzell:' appears in the upper register in Gothic script, flanked by ruled lines, with counterfeit warning text at upper left and validity date 'Hat Giltigkeit bis 30. Sept. 1920' at upper right. Two facsimile signatures appear in the lower margin: 'J. Keitl, Bgm.-Stellv.' at left and 'J. Wöllinger, Bgm.' at right. |
