| Obverse description | The obverse is enclosed within a repeating foliate and guilloche ornamental border, centred by the municipal coat of arms of Hohenzell — a crowned, quartered heraldic shield with a displayed eagle and flanking supporters. Denomination numerals '50' are set within guilloche ovals at lower left and right. A Gothic blackletter text panel at the foot bears a biographical inscription honouring Joseph Reichsfreyherr von Haslingen, pastor and benefactor of Hohenzell, with the initials 'W.' and 'D.' at the lower corners. |
