Obverse description Printed in violet on plain paper, the face carries the bold title 'KASSENSCHEIN' at top centre, with the denomination 'Fünfzig Heller' in large Gothic script flanking a central oval portrait medallion of Franz Schubert. Below, a rectangular vignette illustrates the Höldrischsmühle (Holdrichsmühle) mill at Hinterbrühl, captioned as the birthplace of the Schubertian 'Müllerlieder', with a musical staff excerpt printed beneath. Explanatory text in Gothic script occupies the left and right lateral panels, denomination numerals '50' appear in each corner, and three manuscript signatures of municipal officials are present at the foot below the roles of Vize-Bürgermeister, Bürgermeister, and Finanz-Referent.

Reverse description Printed in violet on plain paper, the reverse is oriented sideways and carries the full redemption text in Gothic letterpress on the left half. To the right, a framed rectangular vignette presents a pen-and-ink style landscape view of Burg Mödling, the ruined medieval castle on a rocky hillside with dramatic clouds above, captioned 'BURG MÖDLING' at the top of the frame. The printer's imprint appears at the lower left of the note.
