Obverse description Notgeld voucher printed in dark green and red on buff paper, with an octagonal guilloche border framing the entire design. A central circular vignette presents a view of the Kartause Gaming monastery, with its church tower and surrounding buildings rendered in fine line engraving; above the vignette a banner carries the municipality name in bold red capitals. The denomination numeral '50' appears in large dark green figures to either side of the central vignette, with 'Heller' inscribed below it in italic script, and the title 'GUTSCHEIN / DER GEMEINDE' set at the top of the note. Red foliate sprays adorn the left and right margins, and a small decorative guilloche emblem is placed at the lower centre.

Reverse description Printed entirely in red on pale buff paper, the reverse carries a large underprint of the numeral '50' in outline figures occupying the full height of the note. Superimposed text in Gothic script sets out the legal redemption conditions, stating that the voucher bears no interest, is accepted by the Gemeinde Gaming until 31 December 1920, and will be redeemed in lawful currency between 1 and 31 December 1920, followed by a counterfeiting warning. Three manuscript facsimile signatures appear below, attributed to the Bürgermeister at centre and the two Vizebürgermeister at lower left and right, with a small guilloche rosette between the mayoral signature lines. The edition designation 'II. Auflage' is printed at the lower centre.
