At upper left, a small crowned heraldic vignette of the Ernstbrunn municipal arms — a well under a canopy — is set without border. The central text block in Fraktur script states the redemption conditions, specifying that the voucher bears no interest and will be redeemed in legal tender by the Gemeinde Ernstbrunn between 1 June 1920 and 31 January 1921.
