| Obverse description | A detailed letterpress vignette occupies the upper portion of the note, presenting a panoramic view of the town of Engelhartszell as seen from across the Danube, with church steeples, town buildings, and wooded hills rendered in fine line work. The vignette is framed by an ornate foliate border with stylized floral motifs at the corners and sides. Below the vignette, the denomination numeral '50' appears in circular cartouches at left and right, flanking the issuer inscription and a text affirming the municipality's obligation to redeem the note in legal tender, followed by the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister. |
