| Obverse description | The left half of the note is occupied by a detailed pen-and-ink vignette of the Christofen parish church with its pointed tower, flanked by trees and adjoining buildings rendered in a fine letterpress style. The denomination and redemption text occupy the right half, with the issuer name "GEMEINDE CHRISTOFEN" inscribed in bold Art Nouveau lettering along the lower left, separated from the text block by a vertical row of circular ornaments. The entire note is enclosed within an elaborate foliate border in the Jugendstil manner, with corner and edge decorative motifs. |
