| Obverse description | Green-toned notgeld printed on a fine guilloche underprint enclosed by a rope-twist border, with the note divided into two distinct halves. The left half carries an elaborately engraved heraldic vignette of the Malchen family coat of arms dated 1573, captioned 'Wappen der Malchen 1573.' in Gothic blackletter below. The right half presents the denomination '50 Heller' in bold blackletter, the redemption clause in Gothic script, and the facsimile signature of Bürgermeister Joh. Fritzl, with the printer's imprint 'E. Frietzel, Steyr' at lower right. |
