Obverse description Green-toned notgeld printed on a fine guilloche underprint enclosed by a rope-twist border, with the note divided into two distinct halves. The left half carries an elaborately engraved heraldic vignette of the Malchen family coat of arms dated 1573, captioned 'Wappen der Malchen 1573.' in Gothic blackletter below. The right half presents the denomination '50 Heller' in bold blackletter, the redemption clause in Gothic script, and the facsimile signature of Bürgermeister Joh. Fritzl, with the printer's imprint 'E. Frietzel, Steyr' at lower right.

Reverse description Green-toned field enclosed by a plain ruled border, with a finely engraved landscape vignette occupying the central area, rendering the historic settlement of Alt-Arbing as recorded in 1672, complete with a fortified tower, multi-storey buildings, and a mountainous backdrop executed in detailed line engraving. The denomination '50 Heller' appears in large blackletter at upper left. A ribbon cartouche at lower centre bears the inscription 'Alt-Arbing 1672.'
