| Obverse description | The note is printed entirely in dark red on a pale grey-green guilloche underprint. At the top, the word "Gutschein" is set in large Gothic blackletter script within a decorative cartouche, flanked by validity and forgery-warning notices. The central vignette is the heraldic shield of Styria — a silver panther on red — rendered in intaglio style, positioned between the denomination expressed in both words ("fünfzig" and "Heller") and the large numeral "50". A two-column legal text asserting the Land Steiermark's liability for redemption in lawful currency flanks the shield, and four facsimile signatures with their respective titles appear along the lower margin. |
