Obverse description Central field features the Czechoslovak state coat of arms: a double-tailed lion rampant to the right bearing the Slovak escutcheon on its breast, rendered in detailed relief. The circular legend ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA runs along the upper periphery, with the date of issue positioned at the bottom of the field. A small mint mark appears below the date in the lower exergual area. The design is executed in a crisp, modernist engraving style characteristic of Španiel's work.
