Obverse description The Polish state eagle — a crowned white eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in bold relief — occupies the central field. The eagle faces dexter, its talons curled and its chest feathered in fine detail, serving as the heraldic emblem of the Second Polish Republic. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs around the upper periphery, while the date 1938, flanked by two lozenge stops, appears in the lower exergual area beneath the eagle's talons.
