At the top of the design, a square cartouche bears the Chinese character '蛇' (Snake). The legend 'LUNAR OUNCE' arcs along the left border and '2025' appears to the upper right, while the inscription 'YEAR OF THE SNAKE' is placed within the field to the right of the serpent.
