Obverse description	Central depiction of the Badjanani Mosque (Old Friday Mosque) in Moroni, rendered in fine relief with its distinctive minaret rising above a walled forecourt flanked by stylized palm fronds on either side. The architectural facade features arched entryways characteristic of Comorian Islamic architecture. The Arabic legend 'بنك يا كمور' (Bank of the Comoros) curves along the upper portion of the field. A beaded border encircles the entire design, and the Paris Mint privy mark appears at the base of the composition.
