This is a privately issued fantasy note — not legal tender, never authorized by the Banque de France, and bearing no relation to any official French monetary series. Gabris, a Slovak designer and engraver, produces these pieces as collector novelties, pairing French cultural figures with the visual grammar of mid-century Banque de France engraving. The paper composition and watermark give it a superficial resemblance to genuine currency, which is precisely the point of the format.

Pierre Richard and Mireille Darc were both icons of 1970s French cinema, though they never appeared together on screen in a significant pairing — an odd choice for a joint portrait note.
