The entire central device is contained within a circular beaded inner border, surrounded by an elaborate band of flowing Arabic calligraphic legend reading Al-Sikka Al-Muhammadiyya Al-Sharifa. The outer rim is decorated with a continuous arabesque frieze of Moorish character. The Latin country name MAROC arcs prominently along the upper rim. |
