| Reverse description | The denomination 50 in large bold numerals occupies the center of the field, with FRANCS inscribed immediately below in a smaller font. The central design is framed by a decorative wreath-like border composed of curved banana leaves or pods arranged in a lobed, petal-like pattern. Interspersed among the foliage are small representations of regional agricultural products including cocoa pods, coffee beans, and other tropical crops.
