| Obverse description | Horizontal note with a central text panel bearing the issuer's name in Gothic script and the denomination "Fünfzig Franken" in large letterpress. Two allegorical female vignettes flank the central text, one at left and one at right, each seated within ornate engraved frames; the value numeral "50" appears in each of the four corners. A series designation and serial number are printed in the upper margin, with two manuscript signature lines for the bank director and the president of the banking commission above the date and place of issue at the lower centre. |
