| Obverse description | A Saker Falcon (Falco cherrug) depicted in left profile occupies the central field, rendered in fine relief with naturalistic detail. The date of issue appears in the lower field beneath the bird. The legend MAGYARORSZÁG arcs along the upper periphery, enclosed between two raised dots serving as punctuation stops. The Saker Falcon holds particular national significance in Hungary, where it is traditionally associated with the mythical Turul bird of Hungarian legend and heraldic tradition. A fine beaded border runs along the inner rim. |
