| Reverse description | The central design features a circular medallion bearing the large numeral '٥٠' (50) above the denomination 'فلس' (Fils), set within a raised circular border decorated with a small diamond ornament at top. Radiating outward from this central medallion are boldly incised Arabic inscriptions divided into four quadrants by raised lines, reading 'المملكة العراقية' (Kingdom of Iraq) and '٥٠ فلس' (50 Fils). The Hijri date '١٣٤٩' and the Common Era date '١٩٣١' appear in the left and right fields respectively, flanking the central circle. The overall design creates a striking sunburst-like arrangement of calligraphic text filling the entire field to the reeded rim. |
