| Reverse description | A coiled imperial five-clawed dragon depicted in high relief occupies the entire central field, its sinuous body curling dramatically with scales finely detailed throughout. The dragon's head faces forward at centre, with an open mouth and prominent whiskers, clutching a flaming pearl beneath its body. Flames emanate from the dragon's limbs, filling the field around the creature. The peripheral legend is separated from the dragon design by a dentilated border running the full circumference. Two six-pointed star ornaments flank the legend at left and right, dividing the English inscription into two arcs reading 'KIANG NAN PROVINCE' above and '3 MACE AND 6 CANDAREENS' below. |
