| Obverse description | Central field features a finely detailed, three-quarter standing figure of a goat in high relief, its head raised and turned slightly upward. To the left of the animal, the Chinese character for goat (羊) appears in the field alongside the cursive French legend 'Année de la Chèvre' inscribed diagonally. The date '2015' is placed in the lower central field, with the mintmark 'RF' (République Française) at the bottom. The entire design is framed by an elaborate decorative border of scrolling acanthus-style foliate ornaments encircling the full periphery of the coin. |
