| Obverse description | Stylized profile bust of Poseidon, god of the sea, facing left, rendered in a bold linear engraving style inspired by ancient Greek coinage. The deity is depicted bearded with flowing hair and a laurel wreath, his curling locks and foliage rendered with fine, expressive lines that fill the field.
