| Reverse description | The reverse, common to the entire UNESCO series, is divided into two vertical registers joined by the sinuous course of the River Seine across Paris. The left register bears the UNESCO logo above the face value denomination, while the right register presents an aerial cartographic view illustrating the geographic relationship between the Musée du Louvre and the Pont des Arts along the Parisian riverbanks. The inscriptions identifying the series, face value, and year are arranged along the lower portion of the design, with the legend arcing around the field. |
