The "Europ Ceros" denomination belongs to a privately conceived pattern series produced around 2007 under the nominal authority of various small British Overseas Territories, Montserrat among them. These were never proposed for actual circulation and carry no backing from the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, which holds sole monetary authority over Montserrat. The pieces exist purely as collector curiosities — fantasy issues dressed in the trappings of legitimacy.
