| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic occupies the central field, featuring a double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, surmounted by a crown, and bearing on its breast a shield depicting a mountain landscape with a traditional Armenian stepped ornament (Artsakh motif). The eagle is set against a radiate sunburst background, flanked at the sides by decorative horizontal bars. Below the central device, wheat stalks and grape vine branches frame a pinecone finial. The legend 'NAGORNO-KARABAKH' arcs along the upper rim in Latin characters, with the Armenian inscriptions 'ԼԵՌՆԱՅԻՆ ՂԱՐԱԲԱՂԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ' and 'ԱՐՑԱԽ' arranged within the upper field, and 'REPUBLIC' inscribed along the lower rim. |
