Obverse description	Portrait vignette of Georgios Stavros set within an oval guilloche frame at left, printed in dark intaglio on a light guilloche underprint. The original issuer title ΕΘΝΙΚΗ ΤΡΑΠΕΖΑ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ appears in the upper centre, overprinted diagonally in red with the new bank name ΤΡΑΠΕΖΑ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ and an additional red circular overprint. Denomination numeral 50 appears in a central guilloche cartouche, with serial number and series letter printed in red flanking it, and three manuscript signatures below the date inscription ΑΘΗΝΗΣΙ ΤΗ. 6 ΜΑΪΟΥ 1923.

Reverse description	Central panel contains an intaglio vignette of the Athena Varvakeion, a marble relief statue of Athena standing in full figure with helmet, spear and shield, set within a rectangular frame. Flanking the central vignette are two large symmetrical guilloche rosette panels, each bearing the numeral 50, with smaller corner denomination counters at all four angles. The Greek key meander border frames the entire composition, and the edition inscription ΕΚΔΟΣΙΣ ΠΕΜΠΤΗ appears along the lower margin above the printer's imprint.
