| Reverse description | The reverse features a bold, high-relief allegorical figure of Peace rendered in polished gold-plated relief and set within a circular opening at the centre of the antiqued silver field. The winged female allegory stands triumphantly atop a lion, her right arm raised holding a laurel wreath aloft, her great wings spread wide in a dynamic composition surrounded by olive branches. Flanking the central device on the antiqued silver surround are intricately engraved maple leaves and floral sprigs in low relief.
