Obverse description Crowned and draped bust of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, as sculpted by Raphael David Maklouf, wearing a pearl drop earring and pearl necklace. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left rim and COOK ISLANDS along the right rim, with the date 1990 positioned in the lower exergue. The engraver's initials RDM and the Pobjoy Mint mark PM appear small beneath the truncation of the bust.
