| Additional information |
Holašovice, a small Bohemian village in South Bohemia, survived the 20th century's upheavals largely intact — including the postwar expulsion of its German-speaking population under the Beneš decrees — leaving its 18th and 19th century South Bohemian Baroque vernacular architecture almost entirely undisturbed. UNESCO added it to the World Heritage List in 1998, specifically because so few rural ensembles of this type escaped either wartime destruction or socialist-era redevelopment. Niue's platinum bullion program has issued coins tied to UNESCO sites since the mid-2010s, with the .999 platinum one-troy-ounce format mirroring the specification used across that series.
