This piece belongs to Fiji's early 2010s program of large-format silver issues produced under licensing arrangements with overseas mints — in this case almost certainly the Powercoin or B.H. Mayer orbit of European contract minting. Fiji's nominal face values on such coins bear no relationship to any circulating monetary system; the $50 denomination existed purely to satisfy legal-tender technicalities required for collector market distribution.
Horus worship at Edfu, site of the best-preserved Ptolemaic temple in Egypt, involved ritual reenactments of his conflict with Set performed annually well into the Roman period.
