Obverse description Right-facing diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, occupying the central field with a high-relief proof finish against a mirror background. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left periphery, while NIUE ISLAND arcs along the upper right, separated by floral ornaments. The denomination 50 DOLLARS and the date 2018 are inscribed along the lower periphery, also separated by a floral ornament. The designer's initials IRB appear below the truncation of the neck, and the Czech Mint mark CM is visible near the left shoulder.

Reverse description A finely detailed, high-relief portrait bust of the celebrated Czech operatic soprano Ema Destinnová facing slightly left, rendered with exceptional sculptural quality against a polished mirror field. The subject is depicted with characteristic short, softly waved hair and wearing a delicate necklace, conveying an intimate and dignified likeness. The name EMA DESTINNOVÁ is inscribed in two lines along the left periphery in a bold upright legend. To the right, within a rectangular cartouche set against a dark recessed background, the gold purity and weight specifications Au 999.9 and 31.1g are inscribed, followed by a small mintmaster's mark below.
