| Obverse description | The obverse features the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, facing right, diademed and wearing a drop earring, as modeled by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear at the base of the truncation. The portrait is framed on both sides by an elegant floral vine motif bearing heart-shaped leaves and buds, which extends across the lower field.
