Reverse description A colourised effigy of Queen Elizabeth II seated in the Coronation Chair within Westminster Abbey, wearing full Coronation regalia including the St. Edward's Crown, ermine-trimmed Coronation robes, and holding the Sceptre with Cross and the Sovereign's Orb. The architectural fan-vaulted interior of the Abbey is rendered in engraved silver relief behind the colourised central figure. The legend CANADA arcs along the upper border and 50 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower border, both set against a polished dark field.
