Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Charles III, rendered in high relief against a vertically striated woodgrain-textured field, after the portrait by Steven Rosati. The king is depicted in a suit and tie, with fine facial detail. The legend CHARLES III arcs along the left rim, D·G·REX along the right rim, and 2025 appears at the top above the portrait. The denomination 50 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower rim. The engraver's initials SR appear at the truncation of the bust.
